About Diane



Diane Grigsby Jackson brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the public, private, non-for profit, and philanthropic sectors. She has assessed and lead effective organizational change at the executive level and helped identify key competencies and opportunities for systemic growth and efficiencies within government agencies, private sector, non-profits and academia. She specializes in administrative transitions, human services program and early education prevention and intervention program development,  stakeholder engagement and expansion strategies.

Currently, Diane Grigsby Jackson serves as the Director for the Division of Family and Community Services. The division is responsible for anti-poverty programs that serve Illinois citizens from before birth to after death, including such programs as WIC, SNAP, Medicaid eligibility, TANF, Employment and Training, Childcare Assistance, Youth Intervention/Preventive Programs, Homeless Supports, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Refugee and Immigrant Services.
